The Impacto Evangelistic magazine has been able to multiply the tasks of missionary work of the Work of God that the Rev. Luis M. Ortiz started without major economic resources or technological advances, but with divine grace.

A follower of Jesus Christ, founder and president of the Worldwide Missionary Movement, Pastor Ortiz affirmed in the sixties the basis for the official means of communication of the MMM to become, over more than five decades, the world leader in evangelization. Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, journalist and radio man, he was always clear on the goal of Impacto Evangelístico. During the 29th anniversary of the magazine, he stated: "I started publishing the magazine with the approval and authorization of my superiors at that time and my main objective was always to promote missionary work".

Founded in January 1961 in Puerto Rico, Impacto Evangelístico was born as a free monthly publication of austere format: black and white print, with a size of 14 by 21 centimeters. In its beginnings, the publication was fueled by the hard work of a group of Puerto Rican Christians who redoubled their efforts for its production. It was not until the 1970s that the World Missionary Movement set up a specialized area and began to edit the magazine within its facilities.

Today, after sixteen months of re-launching, the oldest communication organ of the Work of the Almighty God, as postulated by its founder, month by month, the good news of the Lord and a celestial content that has achieved deep penetration in the evangelical and secular world. With more than two million copies, distributed throughout 2011, Impacto Evangelistic is published from Peru and circulates in twenty-one countries of South America, Central America, Asia and Europe. In a modern and colorful format, you can also read a digital edition on the internet.

Now, with more than 700 editions, the publication is on the front line of the evangelization of the planet. There are more than 700 editions that can be summarized in several words: triumph, glory, conquest, history ... and so on until semantic infinity. One more step in the task of placing the King of kings on the map of the current world.
